The meticulously handcrafted chazutsu part of the case is adorned in ULTIMATE’s signature gold to invite elegance and grace in every gesture and moment of the skincare ritual.
Masterful Craftsmanship
Founded in 1875, Kaikado is Japan’s oldest chazutsu, or tea caddy maker based in Kyoto.
Meticulously handmade the same way since the company was founded, their chazutsu is renowned for their timeless design.
Boasting the thinness of a sheet of paper and the lightness of a cloud, the carefully tapered iconic cylinder form is stunningly minimalist and quintessentially Japanese.
The minimal design also contributes to its functionality. By simply placing the lid on top of the caddy, it closes silently and automatically by the weight of the lid, creating a beautiful airtight seal.
