Saho Double Cleansing is a skincare technique that involves using two different cleansers in two steps to achieve a deep and thorough cleanse. But why is Double Cleansing necessary and what benefits does it bring for your skin?

Double Cleansing - Step 1

Throughout the day, your skin accumulates various impurities such as pollution particles, excess sebum, make-up residues, and sweat. A single cleanse may not effectively remove all these impurities, leading to clogged pores, dullness, and potential skin issues. This is where Double Cleansing is essential.

The first step of Double Cleansing involves using an oil-based cleanser. This helps to dissolve and lift away oil-based impurities and make-up, resulting in a cleaner and healthier complexion.

Combining an oil-based cleanser with a water-based cleanser in a Double Cleansing routine helps to achieve an improved removal of sweat and dead skin cells, promoting a more vibrant and glowing complexion.

The first step of Double Moisturising focuses on priming the skin with a water-based content lotion. This step hydrates and softens your skin, allowing subsequent skincare products to be absorbed onto the skin surface.

By applying these products on top of the hydrated skin, your skin surface is aided to lock in moisture and create a protective barrier, optimising the benefits and effectiveness of the moisturisers.

Saho is more than just a skincare routine — it's a unique experience that brings together the wisdom of Japanese beauty with advanced skincare science. Rooted in our deep respect for nature and guided by a pursuit of aesthetic simplicity, Saho is a ritual that nurtures your skin and restores its natural radiance.

Saho Double Cleansing

Step 1: Begin by applying the recommended amount of the cleanser onto your dry skin. Massage it gently, allowing the product to dissolve and remove oil-based impurities, such as make-up and sebum. Wipe off the cleanser with a facial tissue or rinse it off. Remember to use Step 1 only in the evenings.

Step 2: Begin by moistening your face with water. Create a rich lather with the soap* and envelop your entire face with it. Wash your face, paying extra attention to rough or dull areas by gently moving your finger. Rinse off the soap with a facial tissue or water, ensuring that no residue remains on your hairline or other areas. Use Step 2 to start your morning ritual and to end your evening cleansing routine.

Saho Double Moisturising

Step 1: Begin by applying an appropriate amount of the hydrating lotion onto your palms. Smooth the lotion gently over your forehead, cheeks, nose, and chin little by little, using your fingertips. Work the lotion outward in a circular motion from the centre of your face until it absorbs easily. Use Step 1 in both your morning and evening skincare ritual.

Step 2: After priming your skin with the lotion, take an appropriate amount of the emulsion, fluid or cream on your palms. Smooth it over your entire face, including any areas that are prone to dryness, with gentle motions. Incorporate Step 2 into both your morning and evening skincare ritual.
