Kanebo Cosmetics Inc. expresses its deepest compassion and sympathy for the victims of the Great East Japan Earthquake (Higashi Nihon Dai-Shinsai). We sincerely wish the inhabitants of the stricken regions a rapid recovery from the disaster.

We would like to reassure all our customers around the world that the safety and quality of our SENSAI products is not affected in any way by the radiation released by the Fukushima I Nuclear Power Plant accidents, which were triggered by the recent earthquake and tsunami.

- Kanebo Cosmetics Inc. produces cosmetics under very strict manufacturing guidelines, quality and hygiene control, in accordance with the international standard ISO 22716, ‘Cosmetics Good Manufacturing Practices’. Our products are manufactured in a clean environment under conditions that prevent dust and dirt getting into the production area from outside. The possibility of radioactive substances entering and getting mixed into or attached to products is extremely low.

- No SENSAI products or the raw materials used are being manufactured in, stored in or transported through areas where there is potential radiation exposure.

As stated at the top of our Business Conduct Guidelines, Kanebo Cosmetics consider the safety and high quality of our products as our first priority. We will continue to maintain our intense focus on safety, working closely with the government and local authorities to take every precaution to ensure the safety of our products.
